3. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

The Bitch and Stud owners confirm that:

• The bitch is in good health and fit for breeding.
• Vaccinations are current.
• Worming and parasite prevention are up to date.
• Any required DNA and breed-specific health testing has been completed.

4. STUD FEE - UNPROVEN STATUS

The agreed stud fee for this mating is $1,000 AUD, payable in full prior to the first mating.

The Bitch Owner acknowledges that the stud dog is currently unproven (has not yet sired a confirmed litter). No guarantee of pregnancy, litter size, or number of live puppies is made beyond the return service outlined in Section 8.

Once the stud dog has successfully sired a confirmed litter, the standard stud fee will increase to $1,800 AUD for future services.

The stud fee is non-refundable except as outlined under the No Pregnancy Return Service clause.

5. PROGESTERONE TESTING & BREEDING TIMING (MANDATORY)

Progesterone testing through a registered veterinarian is mandatory.

Testing Schedule

The Bitch Owner agrees to:

• Commence progesterone testing between Day 5-9 from the first day of visible bleeding (Day 1 = first day of bleeding).
• Continue testing every 48 hours, or as advised by their veterinarian, until ovulation is confirmed.
• Provide copies of progesterone results prior to mating.

Designer Oodles of Adelaide reserves the right to decline mating if progesterone testing has not been performed or if timing is considered inappropriate.

Ideal Timing Guide

General veterinary guidelines indicate:

• ~2 ng/mL - LH surge approaching
• ~4-10 ng/mL - Ovulation typically occurs
• ~10-20 ng/mL - Optimal fertile window

Ovulation typically occurs around 5 ng/mL. Eggs mature approximately 48 hours after ovulation. Ideal natural mating generally occurs 2-4 days post ovulation.

Failure to conduct progesterone testing or follow veterinary timing advice voids the No Pregnancy Return Service guarantee.

6. MATING ARRANGEMENTS

7. VET-ASSISTED SIDE-BY-SIDE & ASSISTED BREEDING

Veterinary-assisted breeding may include:

• Side-by-side supervised natural mating
• Assisted insemination (vaginal, transcervical, or surgical)
• Semen collection and evaluation
• Reproductive monitoring

Designer Oodles of Adelaide recommends Noah's Crossing Veterinary Clinic for progesterone testing, ovulation timing, semen assessment, and assisted breeding procedures.

The Bitch Owner may use an alternative licensed veterinarian; however, all veterinary fees, procedural costs, travel expenses, and associated services are the sole responsibility of the Bitch Owner.

Designer Oodles of Adelaide is not responsible for outcomes related to third-party veterinary services.

8. NO PREGNANCY RETURN SERVICE (12 MONTHS)

A veterinary pregnancy confirmation must be performed between 28-35 days post mating.

If the bitch fails to conceive, and written veterinary confirmation is provided within 10 days of diagnosis, Designer Oodles of Adelaide will provide:

• One (1) free return service
• With the same bitch only
• At her next heat cycle
• Within 12 months of the original mating date

No cash refund will be provided.

Return service conditions:

• Mandatory progesterone testing must be repeated.
• All health requirements must be met again.
• The bitch must not be bred to another stud during the same cycle.
• The return service is limited to one repeat only.

If no pregnancy occurs after the repeat service, no further guarantees apply.

This guarantee is void if:

• Progesterone testing was not performed.
• Veterinary confirmation is not supplied.
• The bitch has known fertility issues.
• Recommended timing was not followed.

9. TRAVEL & VETERINARY EXPENSES

All travel expenses for the bitch are ordinarily the responsibility of the Bitch Owner.

However, as the stud dog is currently unproven, Designer Oodles of Adelaide agrees to waive travel fees for this initial mating only.

Once the stud dog is proven and the standard stud fee increases to $1,800 AUD, travel will be charged at a rate of $0.90 per kilometre (return distance) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All veterinary costs including progesterone testing, pregnancy confirmation, assisted breeding procedures, semen collection, shipping, and emergency care remain the responsibility of the Bitch Owner unless due to proven negligence of the Stud Owner.

10. PUPPY RESPONSIBILITY

The Bitch Owner is solely responsible for:

• Whelping and raising the litter
• Veterinary care of the bitch and puppies
• Registration (if applicable)
• Sale and placement of puppies

No guarantee is made regarding litter size or number of live puppies.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Designer Oodles of Adelaide shall not be held liable for failure to conceive.

In the event the stud dog is later determined to be infertile, the maximum liability of the Stud Owner shall be limited to the return of the stud fee paid. No further compensation shall be payable.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between both parties. No verbal agreements shall be recognised.
